About Us
The Sub Regional Unit is a shared service working on behalf of the London Boroughs of Croydon, Richmond, Bromley, Merton, Kingston upon Thames and Sutton. Set up in 2007 by the six Directors of Childrens' Services as a cost effective solution to support the delivery of statutory and non statutory services.
Our mission is:
To provide our Local Authorities with high value leadership and management of commissioned services so that they have the best possible services for young people in place.
To be the lead supplier of real time data, statistical analysis and management information about young people so that Local Authorities can plan, procure and improve services.
In order to achieve our mission we will:
Plan, guide, support and help improve the quality of the commissioned services that we manage.
Take a long term view about service development with our Local Authorities so that sustainable improvements in outcomes are achieved for young people.
