Ayub Khan, Director:

Ayub is responsible for the leadership and management of the Sub Regional Unit.  He joined the predecessor organisation Connexions South London initially on secondment as the Interim Chief Executive in 2003 leading the Partnership through a period of change resulting in significant improvements including the first successful OfSTED Inspection of a sub contracted Connexions Partnership in London. He has extensive experience of operational and strategic management, large scale commissioning and contract management of education, training, advice, and support services.

Julian Saunders, Commissioning Director:

Julian has worked for Connexions South London and now the Sub Regional Unit for 7 years. His responsibilities cover finance, ESF funded projects, and our workforce development programme. He is also heavily involved in all aspects of the commissioning of services. He has been involved in the delivery and management of IAG services for over 20 years.

Vicky Charles, CCIS Manager:

Vicky has been employed as CCIS Manager since 2005 managing the Client Caseload Information System for the 6 south London boroughs.   Her main responsibilities are ensuring that boroughs meet the Department for Education (DfE) CCIS requirements, monitoring Local Authority performance against national targets, producing reports detailing progress towards meeting targets and the development of CCIS ensuring it meets both national and local recording requirements.  Part of the role includes training and support to all Local Authority employed Personal Advisers, and staff from the Community and Voluntary sectors.

Kevin Murdock,  MI Officer:

Kevin has been working as a MI Officer in the Sub Regional Unit since 2005. His previous employment background includes software training, application development and customer services. As an MI officer his role involves developing systems to monitor and maintain the quality and integrity of CCIS data across the South London Sub Region.

Paul Richard Ellis,  MI Officer:

Paul has worked for the Sub Regional Unit for one year as an MI Officer.  Before joining he gained experience of database management and government funded training through many years of working within the Work Based Learning sector.  As an MI officer his role involves developing systems to monitor and maintain the quality and integrity of CCIS data across the South London Sub Region.

Marcelle Neil, Choice Jobs Development Manager:

Marcelle’s role is to support the development of CHOICE Jobs application within the Choice website.   This is a pan London initiative that will ensure that all vacancies for young people are part of the CHOICE online tool providing impartial advice for young people.  Marcelle has extensive experience of the Connexions CCIS database and working with employers generating opportunities for young people.

 Robb Cunningham, European Social Fund Projects Coordinator:


Robb has worked with the Sub Regional Unit since August 2009. He is responsible for managing the Unit’s portfolio of ESF projects and identifying new opportunities within ESF and other EU funding programmes that could benefit the Sub Region’s young people. Before joining the Sub Regional Unit Robb gained a number of years’ experience of EU funding whilst working in both the public and higher education sectors.

Sarah Moran, Administration Officer:

Sarah has worked part time at the Sub Regional Unit for a year. Her role is to manage the office and take responsibility for general administration including processing invoices. Sarah also takes the lead managing the arrangements and bookings for our workforce development programme. In her previous role she worked for the London Borough of Croydon on the IYSS team.

Aiken Tirvassen, I.T Apprentice:

Aiken joined the CCIS team as an I.T apprentice in September 2009. His role is to support the CCIS team and provide some additional support to the Choice Jobs project it is his first full- time job since leaving college however he briefly worked at Earls Court as part of the helpdesk team.
